black iron to a glamorous treasure *

ok here i go!
first time blogger so give me some slack!

this piece is from my mother in law. She had no use for it so gave it to Sean and I ... and this is how i spiced it up! follow along :)

here it is ... boring

i used my new favorite color paint, which is a light teal blue. painted just one coat then let it dry

once it dried i got my also new favorite sand paper , its the best . i also pulled out a packet of gems i had. start slightly sanding the edges to give it an antique look , once you've got your desired amount of distressing done you can add your touch of glam! I pulled out my glue gun and placed four teardrop shaped gems on each corner... check it out !

please excuse the mirrored image!

next i decided to be a little daring, this is a rubber stamp my Gramma Kay picked out for a previous project i will post about later.. i used a stain stamp, but i suggest a light color paint if you attempt this...

i stamped each spot ! and Bam , it's vintage glam ! hope you enjoyed .. more to come !
